Wishlist #2: Word notebooks by Cool Material

pic name pic name pic name

Don't you love carrying a notebook wherever you go to write down all your ideas? Or just to keep track of everything you have to do? Well, I do that a lot. And I think these little notebooks are just perfect for that. I mean, we have tablets and smartphones these days, but there's nothing cooler than having a nice notebook.

They're made by Cool Material and they're available in six different colors, including three different camo patterns. And yes, there's tan camo which is one of my favourites ;)

How to wear camo?

Today, we're going to talk about a trend in menswear for this Fall. Camouflage. These days, our eyes get a bit tired of seeing camo everywhere. Outside the shows, on street style photos... Wherever you go!!

Camo has been around for a lot and it will always be. And no, it's not only reserved for military troops or hunters. But... what's so good about it? I mean, we've seen guys like Nick Wooster and even models like Hanne Gaby wearing it. And why on Earth does it seem so difficult (at least for me) to pull it off?!

I personally didn't pay that much attention to Camo until Dries Van Noten used it for his Spring/Summer 2013 collection which is amazing.

So, enough said. Let's begin!

Camo Jackets/Shirts:

  • Just put it on. I mean, stop asking yourself if you should or not. Just do it, it looks fucking cool.

  • Keep it simple. Wear basic colors like grey or black with it. That will make the print pop out and it's a way to avoid clashing colors.

  • Wear a fitted, but not tight jacket. You can always roll sleeves up, wear long or short sleeves... The options are endless!

Camo Trousers:

  • Wearing camo pants might be a bit tricky. Always try to go for the right fit because if you don't, you'll look like a dumbass.

  • Try pairing camo pants with a white or maybe grey shirt/tee-shirt.

  • Wear them with brown brogues or sneakers and avoid wearing them with combat boots because that will make you look like you just came out of the army or something.

Well, that's it for now. I'm not that good when it's about giving advice but I hope this helps you! Do you have any particular way to wear camo?

Things I love about Fall

Hey! Maybe it's a bit late to post this, but whatever. It's finally starting to feel like Fall in my country, that means it's a bit foggy in the morning and there's a cold breeze during the day and I looooooove it!

Now, when I wake up, I have this urge to grab a jumper and just put it on. But... around 12pm it gets a little bit hot. And, at 5/6pm, that cold breeze comes back!! Well, who understands this weather?!

Whatever. I'm here to talk about things I love about this season. So, don't expect thanksgiving stuff or something like that, I'm not going to talk about the fact that I'm very happy because holiday season's coming. Here I go:

  • Wearing jumpers. Okay that's definitely one of my favourite parts. Feeling so comfortable and cozy on a wool jumper it's just one of the best things. Ohh and, we can't forget about the new trend for this Fall. Camo. Yup, but we'll talk about that later.

  • The leaves. I know, they're not the same as most country leaves. I mean, they're not red but they're kind of yellow and a bit orange and also the fact that they're a bit crunchy. I love when the ground's full of them.

  • Long walks. I just love this one. I always loved taking long walks, especially now because it's all cold and it feels so good. I love walking with my friends at the same time we talk about loads of stuff.

  • Bon Iver. It sounds weird, I know. But let's face it, Fall is the perfect season to listen to Bon Iver, their songs are simply amazing.

So yeah. That's it for now guys! I think these little details are the things I love about this season. What about you? Do you have any reason to love this season? Tell me about it!!

Inspired X

Hello! I know, I promised you guys I was going to update this blog as soon as I could. It's just... School's driving me crazy!! But you've heard enough about that. Well, here it is.

It's been a while since my last 'inspired' post. That's because I couldn't find any inspiring images to post here, but now I did! I've been looking for images on Tumblr, Pinterest and sites like that. But at the end, I will always get my inspiration from the magical world of Flickr.

But Victor!!! Only two images?!   ...Sadly, yes. These are the images that are inspiring the most right now, I guess it's because of the season, they feel kind of cold and warm at the same time and I love the cinematic atmosphere they have. Ahhh, I wish it snowed in my country. Well, I have to go now. I need to finish my homework (arghhh).

Have a nice day!
