Things I love about Fall

Hey! Maybe it's a bit late to post this, but whatever. It's finally starting to feel like Fall in my country, that means it's a bit foggy in the morning and there's a cold breeze during the day and I looooooove it!

Now, when I wake up, I have this urge to grab a jumper and just put it on. But... around 12pm it gets a little bit hot. And, at 5/6pm, that cold breeze comes back!! Well, who understands this weather?!

Whatever. I'm here to talk about things I love about this season. So, don't expect thanksgiving stuff or something like that, I'm not going to talk about the fact that I'm very happy because holiday season's coming. Here I go:

  • Wearing jumpers. Okay that's definitely one of my favourite parts. Feeling so comfortable and cozy on a wool jumper it's just one of the best things. Ohh and, we can't forget about the new trend for this Fall. Camo. Yup, but we'll talk about that later.

  • The leaves. I know, they're not the same as most country leaves. I mean, they're not red but they're kind of yellow and a bit orange and also the fact that they're a bit crunchy. I love when the ground's full of them.

  • Long walks. I just love this one. I always loved taking long walks, especially now because it's all cold and it feels so good. I love walking with my friends at the same time we talk about loads of stuff.

  • Bon Iver. It sounds weird, I know. But let's face it, Fall is the perfect season to listen to Bon Iver, their songs are simply amazing.

So yeah. That's it for now guys! I think these little details are the things I love about this season. What about you? Do you have any reason to love this season? Tell me about it!!

Inspired X

Hello! I know, I promised you guys I was going to update this blog as soon as I could. It's just... School's driving me crazy!! But you've heard enough about that. Well, here it is.

It's been a while since my last 'inspired' post. That's because I couldn't find any inspiring images to post here, but now I did! I've been looking for images on Tumblr, Pinterest and sites like that. But at the end, I will always get my inspiration from the magical world of Flickr.

But Victor!!! Only two images?!   ...Sadly, yes. These are the images that are inspiring the most right now, I guess it's because of the season, they feel kind of cold and warm at the same time and I love the cinematic atmosphere they have. Ahhh, I wish it snowed in my country. Well, I have to go now. I need to finish my homework (arghhh).

Have a nice day!

Wishlist: The Coat

Coat inspired by Maison Martin Margiela x H&M

Last time, I talked about overthinking and... the collaboration between Margiela and H&M. So, let me tell you something, about the overthinking post... Well forget about it, because I can't stop overthinking about that collaboration, seriously.

I developed some kind of obsession towards it, each piece is perfect. But there's especially one thing from that collection that's stuck in my head, and that's the wool overcoat.

When I first saw the advertising campaign I was like NOOO WAY! I need that coat!. It's just so beautiful, the color is perfect, the lenght is just super cool and it's made of wool. I mean, what else can you ask for?

So yeah, the Margiela x H&M overcoat? Definitely on my wishlist for this Fall! What do you think?

PS: Dear mom and dad, I hope you're reading my blog right now... *cough*

Overthinking

Inspired by L'Officiel Hommes Germany Fall 2012

Okay, so while everybody is talking about the Margiela x H&M preview party... I'm just sitting here... overthinking some things.

It's not that I'm not excited for the collaboration, I loveeee it. I've seen a bit of the lookbook and it's just so amazing. I'm in love with the proportions and the structures of each piece.

Well, I'm not here to talk about fashion, even though I already did it. I'm here to talk about overthinking. Yup, that's it. That's another thing I've been doing a lot this week (besides studying and listening to the marvelous Azealia Banks, but you already know that, don't you?).

Overthinking is a totally normal process in life, but sometimes it can be very dangerous and (in my case) it can cause lack of sleep.

I've been overthinking about what should I post here (because this blog is a bit dead. But not anymore, I promise), about studying insdustrial design instead of advertising, and even about dropping out of school (yup, I was a bit frustrated last week, but now it's okay). The point is that overthinking may cause some reaaaally negative thoughts and it's a bit difficult to just stop out of nowhere.

That's why I'll leave you with a few tips on how to stop overthinking:

  • Find a distraction: This is the best way to stop doing it, seriously. Last week I was overthinking about my grades and stuff, and I decided to ride my bike (it was one of the best decisions I ever made). It cleared my head and I felt just so relaxed. So yeah, find a distraction! Go out, read a book, draw, or just eat (that's one of my favourites).

  • Take action: Try to take the problem you're overthinking about into a concrete solution.

  • Stop yourself: When you start doing it, just stop. This is actually a little hard, it takes a lot of effort to stop thinking about something. If you can't stop, you can always punch yourself find a distraction (as I said before).

  • Be Patient: Overthinking is a problem, that's why you struggle a bit when you try to stop. Just be patient and everything will come along.
