The perfect time to post?

After having a super busy week, I've finally managed a way to work on my blog. Well, at least that's what I think (Because I haven't tried it yet).

Unfortunately, this week I had to do loads of paperwork (I know, right?). But; as soon as I finished, I started to feel a little bored. To fight my boredom I started to walk around my workplace and asked everybody if they needed any help. They said no. So, I just went back to my desk and drank a cup of coffee (Did I mention I drink 3 cups of coffee per day). Well; the thing is, as soon as I did that, I grabbed some sheets and a pencil.

I started to draw lots of random things and I thought 'this is the perfect time for posting'. And yeah, that's what I think I'll do. I'll post on my free time at work, have you tried it? I'll try to do it this week to see if it works out. But first, I need something to photograph!! Meanwhile, here's a drawing!

PS: This drawing is inspired by the marvelous Garance Doré.

What's wrong with me?

I'm feeling too guilty for not posting enough content to this blog. I've been working a lot lately and that's why I haven't got that much time to post.

I'm usually getting home at 7 or 8pm and it's kind of a nightmare, because I have to read other blogs and at the same time I want to sleep like a log. The weather is not that good, it's raining a lot and I hate it. I mean, we're in the middle of summer and it feels like October. Today I got home a little earlier (6:40 to be exact) it wasn't raining anymore so I decided to take these pointless photographs.

I know I'm supposed to dress like it's summer but, you know. It's raining and the office is totally cold so I just go with that. If it wasn't, I'd go on shorts and espadrilles.  But seriously, I just want to go to the beach and swim until I die. Have a great weekend!

PS: I'm wearing a Zara jumper (which I really love) and shirt. Jeans are from Gap.

The Arrow

Last week, my dad gave me his old sunglasses.

When I first found them, they were a little corroded and scratched (yup, they're really old). So, the first thing I told my dad, was to take them to a place where they can polish and brighten them up because they'll look better that way. I'm so glad I made that decision, seriously, they look like they're new!

Something I really love about these sunglasses, it's the tortoisehell material they're made of. It makes them look kind of classic and really elegant.

PS: They're made by Persol. I don't really have any information about the model, because we sent them to polish, and the reference they had written on was all gone.

Inspired VIII

Hello! So, two days ago I was just browsing through the internet and I found this editorial shot by Omar Sartor for L'Officiel Hommes Italia Issue. I know that almost each store is starting to sell their fall/winter merchandise, but I can't help it, I really love these prints from the menswear spring/summer collections; they're like art pieces. And the way they were selected just for this editorial is just incredible. I think they'd also look perfect as home tapestry. That's one of the things I love about design, when you create something that inspires people and something that lasts.
