New York Spring 2013 favourites

I've been so busy! This has been officialy the most stressful week I ever had. I mean, I've had tons of homeworks and like 10 exams (I know, craaaazy!!). But that didn't stop me when it was about watching the New York collections for Spring 2013.

What I love about New York collections is that they're always kind of fresh.

I love the way the aesthetics are really different from Paris or Milan, they're like more relaxed. I have to say, it was a little difficult to me to choose my favourites this time.

I loved those stripes from Tommy Hilfiger and the way the collection was kind of preppy. The thing I loved about J.Crew was the explosion of colors, it was so cool. And the suits looked very nice.
And what about J.Lindeberg? Well, I really liked that presentation they did in New York Fashion Week. I think they were amazing clothes, I loved the blue palette and the biker jackets were amazing!!

What about you? Do you have any favourites from the New York Collections?

My daily essentials #3: Sketchbook

There's something I can't definitely go a day without it, and that's my sketchbook.

This is where ideas are written and I just love it, my friend Martha gave it to me as a birthday present and since then, I can't stop using it. It's just so light, I can take it with me wherever and whenever I want.

I write down loads of ideas for my posts, I sketch projects for my blog illustrations, I create characters and it's very useful, especially when I'm bored at class. And yes, I draw way better here than in my pen tablet.

Well, enough said. Here are some sketches:

PS: My sketchbook is made by Moleskine.
PSS: My handwriting sucks a little, I know.

His name's Juan

This is my friend Juan. I don't know why I'm taking so many photos of my friends lately, it feels weird. I think I told you about this a while ago. I used to be in Kindergarden with him and since then I never got to see him. He contacted me a few months ago and said that he wanted some photographs, so I said yes!

This shoot was kind of a nightmare, but at the same time it was fun. It was the middle of summer (still) and he had to wear these clothes, so I believe it was a nightmare for him too.

Well, that's everything I have to say. Hope you like the photos!

Weekend Diaries VIII: Liz

This is my friend Liz. We hanged out a bit this weekend. She's such a beautiful person, both, inside and out. The only bad thing is that she only comes for the weekends, because she lives really far from the city. But it's so good to talk with her, she's a bit shy but we talk about everything. I hope she comes again next weekend, that way I can take more photos of her!
