Ovadia & Sons SS14

Can we take a couple of minutes just to talk about how perfect the Ovadia & Sons collection for next spring is?

Well. I wanted to share some of my favorite looks with you.

I know, when I first saw it I felt like I needed to have every single piece because they're just perfect. From the printed shirts & trousers to the very bright and colorful details. Somehow, I think they look harmoniously very fresh and clean when they're combined.

I mean, that's what spring is about, no? Bright colors and prints. Something I think that is brilliant too, is the tailoring, how everything was just perfectly fitting. I believe that Ariel and Shimon are doing a great job with their brand and I know that we will continue to see amazing stuff in the future.

What do you think about the collection? Do you like it? Let me know!

3.1 Phillip Lim x Target

Ohh you know, yesterday (like always) I was just surfing the web, and then I found this. Yes, a collaboration between Phillip Lim and Target... when I first saw it, I thought I was dreaming or something.

The truth is, I don't even know what to say about this, except that I LOVE IT. Really!! For me, this is probably one of the best things happening this fall (besides from the fresh weather, yeah).

Ahh, I can't believe it. You know Phillip Lim is alwaaaays great, and this collaboration is just perfect. The simplicity makes it look so relaxed but elegant and the same time. The color palette is just beautiful, perfect for fall. I can't wait for it to come out on Sept. 15

Honestly, I love collaborations and I'm hoping to see more like this one. What do you think? Do you like it?

ZARA AW13 Man

I know I've been talking a lot about campaigns lately but ohh, I just can't help it. I'm an aesthetic lover.

I'm always like that when a new campaign comes out, if I like it, I feel like I have the urge to talk about it on the blog. And that's exactly how I felt when I first saw this campaign. Here's what I think about it and some of my favorite photos.

First of all, Boo George is a great, great great photographer, I worship his work because I think it's just fantastic the way his pictures are always very clean and simple yet very powerful at the same time.

And we can't leave the models behind. Yuri Pleskun (I thought he dissappeared from the face of the earth), Arthur Gosse and Marlon Teixeira showcased such a great mood for the collection. Very strong indeed.

Their facial expressions and deep lost gazes match perfectly with those so sober, yet powerful attires. Giving the campaign photographs an attractive shine coming for this season, making the consumers be mad about buying the clothes.

As for the collection; I want to kill myself right now, let me explain you. I spent the day outside, I got a haircut and then did a little shopping at... ...Zara. As you know, everything's on sale right now so I only paid attention to the pieces that were on sale when I was shopping. And then I come home and see people on the internet talking about how awesome the new Zara collection and campaign are.

ARGHH, I just want to kill myself, every piece is perfect. From the knits to the pants and blazers, even the underwear(?) Ohh and don't forget the coats, they're pretty awesome too!

Inspired: Kris Van Assche SS14 backstage

Kris Van Assche is such a good designer, his collections won't stop surprising me. And I personally loved what he did for his Spring/Summer 2014 collection, the way he focused on simple, strong and solid colors was just great as well as the polka dots and the minimal look (I'm such a fool for minimalism, but you already know that).

Well, moving to another subject... ...I wanted to talk about how much I love these pictures, I think Dirk Alexander did such a great job when capturing the backstage moments. When I first looked at the pictures, I thought it was for a campaign or something like that, but then I realized they were just the backstage pictures! Cool no?
