My perfect summer playlist

So; yesterday I was sketching in my desk, and I decided to turn the music on to get a little bit inspired, I grabbed my Iphone and clicked shuffle (I never click there).

Oh boy, the music I forgot I had in there. I don't know why, but I felt it was kind of nostalgic. I think it's because those songs brought loads of memories back to my head. As I was listening, I decided to make a little list of songs called my 'perfect summer playlist' including old and new songs which I really love. Here it is:

  • Best Coast - Crazy For You
  • Concorde - Like To Say
  • The Cure - Pictures of You
  • The Drums - Me and The Moon
  • Joy Division - Transmission
  • The Killers - Losing Touch
  • Kings Of Leon - Revelry
  • Life In Film - Suitcase
  • Mesita - Living/Breathing
  • New Order - Ceremony
  • Phoenix - Girlfriend
  • Two Door Cinema Club - This Is The Life
  • U2 - Where The Streets Have No Name
  • The Velvet Underground - Rock and Roll

Yup, that's it. I think you should listen to every song because of their music, lyrics and of course; their summery mood. Thanks for reading, have a nice weekend!

Inspired IV

This week has been really stressful; lately I'm so busy with school stuff, I barely have time to sleep. Well; the thing is, today my friend Sarah told me about a girl called Lianne La Havas. She's a 22 year old singer and songwriter from London. Her music is really beautiful, it made me feel so warm and peaceful, she's got an amazing voice and she plays guitar so nicely! I'm glad Sarah introduced me to her music, because that girl is just beyond. Here's a video from La Blogotheque:
