Dear Lia

Last week, I had the opportunity to shoot my dear friend Lia. She's such a nice person, full of energy and fun. She likes to make funny jokes and things like that. I felt so bad that day because she spent like an hour waiting for me to get there. There's something really funny about the last photo, the day was really hot and we were very tired after walking a lot for the photoshoot and she was like 'we should go'. So we went to her car and found those eyeglasses and we started to shoot, and as soon as we saw the picture, we were making fun of it and it turned out to be the best one. Oh Lia, I'm so sad you'll leave but I know you'll keep making people happy and I know you'll keep smiling as well.

Lace-up shoes

I am such a big fan of lace-up shoes. I mean, they look amazing, don't they?

Some people say things like: 'oh, are you wearing your dad's/grandpa's shoes?' or 'ah, you have such an old taste' but the truth is, my style is kind of classic and lace-up shoes just look good with everything you wear (jeans, shorts, etc.)

I might change the laces on these ones. What do you think about lace-up shoes?

PS: In case you're wondering, I bought these brogues in Zara.

Inspired VII

This summer, I'm feeling inspired by Sofia Coppola (yes, again) I just can't get enough of her cinematic vision. I find italian beaches a bit inspiring too, they're full of color and life, even the sand looks perfect!

And Nirrimi & Matt, I will always see them as my first source of inspiration for photography. But there's something I like so much about that photo (I still don't know what), I just love it. By the way, have you seen Nirrimi's new portfolio? You should check it out, it's full of beauty.

About the last photo, well... you know how much I love spaces and organization, so I think Tres Bien Shop headquarters are perfect for working.

Spring 2013 Menswear

After watching some of the shows that were presented in Paris and Milan, I did a quick selection of my favorite ones.

As I told you, Prada was my favorite collection in Milan (I also liked Jil Sander, but not that much because it wasn't the same without Raf), the thing I really loved about Prada, was the atmosphere and the colors of the clothes, not to mention the minimalist vibe. Another reason was because some menswear looks seemed to work very good on women as well.

And about Paris, what can I say? I loved almost every show but the most cool ones were Dries Van Noten, Kenzo and Kolor. These ones are my favorite looks, what collections did you like from the Menswear shows?
